Do you have a caring heart and want to have boatloads of fun with some really great people? We’re looking for volunteer captains and first mates for our boating and fishing cruises.

A Strong volunteer base is the anchor (pun intended!) of Live Well. Go Fish. Volunteers contribute time and expertise to help create memories for our guests. All volunteers are well-trained individuals who have a caring heart for the people we serve. We have a desire to share our outdoor experience with others, and to create a community that cares for all of its citizens.

Captains must be 26 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license. Captains and First Mates may select their preference of groups to serve, shift schedule, and may fill in for others’ shifts on an on-call basis. Team volunteers should plan to serve for at least 2 shifts per month to keep their skills sharp and training up to date.

Additional volunteers on board include: sponsors, partners, assisted living facility staff, and trained Live Well. Go Fish. volunteers, depending on guest requirements and needs. All will be certified and trained to Live Well. Go Fish. high standards and certification for fishing or boating. These additional volunteers will also participate in banquets, fundraising events, recognition events, and off-shore teaching and training activities.

Other volunteer areas include; Equipment Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Public Relations, Scheduling, Social Media, Fundraising, Information Technology, and others.
